I am sure glad I didn't decide to take a "sick" day today
Thank you very much Stilt for bringing this to us

I don't suppose that AMD has an updated internal tool for overclocking like the older AMDGPUClockTool or ATI Winclk? Maybe something that has voltage adjustments too? Maybe you could get the green light for that as well

Is it the same as that Bios
This BIOS fixes the 862 MHz core overclocking issue on Radeon HD 3870

Wonder if that means we can edit the voltage in the Bios like the 2900Pro/XTs

    1.327v for 777MHz is default

Interesting. If Techpowerup has it then I am guessing we won't have to wait for this mythical "green light" Stilt is waiting for. Hopefully W1zzard will be bringing the flash utility to us very soon.

I hope w1z gets around to updating ATITool as well. I'm sure he is probably just very busy and tied up with other things.

I find it odd that the stock voltage for this chip in 3d is higher than the stock 3d voltage for the 2900xt... generally with a process shrink comes lower voltage requirements.

Yea that's very weird. But perhaps we'll see a nice overclock on stock volt instead.

The HD2900XT pulled more amps then the 3870.

Can't wait to see the results on this either way.
