The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

Victor have you tried running 1066 with this 6000+?

    yup, i've tried, and it's HALF-WORKing.
    200fsb, 1066, cpuz can't read the memclk, 200*15 1m=30.875sec
    200fsb, 800, 200*15 1m = 27.xxx sec
so as you said, the 1066 ratio can support only on K10

like i said, this mobo, remind me the years of DFI LP NF4.
yes, CFX3200 almost make everyone crazy, but this mobo is not.
even if u leave all setting = auto, it can overclk pretty good.
for mem timing settings, i think if u fimiliar with memset, u can handle almost 80% of the options available in bios.

@Victor , impressive perfomance@ spi .The last week i was trying to do some bench @3300 , ram 1100 4-4-4 , and even with extensive tweaking in all subtimings (in fact all minimal except Twrt,Trtw ,2,4 respectively) cant even get close ( getting close i mean 0,5% difference..) , fastest tryout was once (never succeeded to repeat again) 4-4-3-9(or -8 , dont remember) with 24.593 almost 1% slower(i dont think tras =5 could make more than 50-70ms differcence). To make this difference clearer before "crucify" me :p, keep in mind that with all subs tweaked , going from 5-5-4(tCL-tRCD-tRP) to 4-4-4 got 0.9-1% faster at spi , so this difference from my setup (m2n32 ws pro,XP64 ,diagnostic startup :p) is HUGE!! .Is so much gain from the extra subtimings the bios has? or is just the high HTT?

Bah, I was really excited when I saw that AMD Phenom-related slide claiming 169€ QuadCore CPU's and then seeing this DFI board and thinking it'd cost 150€ or so (for example MSI's 790FX costs ~120€), but cheapest Phenom ended up at 230€ and this board is listed at 200€(!) at the moment...

    Hello IX38-QuadGT (180€) & Q6600 (200€) then, I guess.

Launch prices are always higher than expected...
We need to wait until all shops have phenoms and 790 mobos available in quantity and not only some of them.
Then they probably start the price battle and we'll be able to get a dfi at 150€ and a X4 9500 at 190€...
Another example is the 8800GT... here in Italy it's still unavailable in almost all of the shops and where it's available it's sold at 250+ € (350$ or so)..

Is it possible to crossfire 2 cards with 1 in the last bottom slot? That would be really nice as it would save 3 PCI slots for devices.

Well, the 8800 GT is out of stock everywhere in Europe, but even so it's still sold at 200€, even under at some stores. Theres no price gouging on the HD 3800-series either, even though it's a new product.

Though I hope your right, I'd love to get this board at 150€ (and a K8 DualCore), but looking at DFI's recent pricing with their Intel boards, it'll stay at 200€.

Alright, enough ing and offtopic from me, carry on.

I know I asked this in another thread but.......does this mean that overclocking a Phenom at this point beyond 2.4ghz will result in the Errata Bug and shut down under Prime Load?

Well, i got a board with the warped socket in the days and unlike DFI support in the US they told me they wouldn't take care of the shipping cost, after i mailed them back telling them (in a very polite way) that i didn't understand why it should cost me anything when it was a 100% DFI mistake, they just ignored me. You can't possibly do worst in my opinion unless you insult your customer of course.

is it available anywhere yet, and does anyone know if they are sold through any stores in the UK anymore. was a point you could pick up a dfi from anywhere, even dabs.com , now you can barely find dfi boards and i have no clue why they dissappeared

none of the "where to buy" links on the dfi site have anything. i think one company of all the ones listed had a single dfi mobo on. they've just evapourated completely from the uk, which is a shame.
    Mail Me | 3500+ , dfi sli-dr, g-skill la, 2x6800gt, 600w pcz, stacker case, air cooled
