    I really do think there is more room for improvement on the GPU side than the CPU side.

    At a minimum I'll make a custom top for my old MCW60 base sitting here on my workbench.

    Anyhow, I did try a new update on the CPU block too. Just took the block out and milled the base down thinner. I went from about an .085" base thickness to .045". Unfortunately even though the loop isn't settled out, I'm seeing a substantial icrease in temps

    On the plus side, even though I've now wasted this block base, I may have room for improvement by using a thicker base. Maybe something in the .100" to .150" base thickness is ideal for that particular pin arrangement.
