Like we saw , the card performs very well in recent title games , with High resolutions and even with filters activated (AA & AF) , with exception of course in the new game from Crytek the Crysis , but we all already knew thats a very demanding game and also it´s only a Demo not the final version , but i think maybe only in the next video cards Generation we can enjoy the game with all game settings High , filters ON and high resolutions , although the game its perfectly playable even at 1680x1050 with game settings High , personally i think thats a very good job for a card that cost around 249$

    Overclock:

We all know the overclock its not the same in all video cards ! With our sample we reach 740mhz core clock artifacts free , using atitool (scan for artifacts) and Fan speed @ 90% :

    740mhz Core Clock
    FAN @ 90%
    Atitool scan for artifacts

All 8800GT cards use 1.0ns memory (rated 2.0Ghz) so all cards should reach at least that speed .

About shader clock I think the average should be around 1780mhz - 1800Mhz ( you have to test it)

    Conclusion:

No doubt the best card Price/performance actually in the market !

    Pros:

    » Price «
    » Quality «
    » Performance «
    » Overclock «

    against :

    » Bundle «
    » Cooler «

    9/10

It seems most reference 8800GT can stablize at 720-740MHz.

The Danger Den Maze 5 will work and DD is making a full card cooler not yet released. If I run a small powerful fan, 70 cfm or so at the card would that be enough for the ramchips as I am usingthe MAze 5 for the core? Or do yyou think a set of Swiftech copper heatsinks and mosfeits and fans? The fans are doing a great job inside the case cooling the mobo areas .

The Zalman VF1000 and its companion cooler the ZMRHS-88 is also available. Also, the Thermalright HR-03 GT is a good one to consider.
Currently running an ES Black Ops with a Qx9650 under SS, and a variety of Crossfire combos, and a Biostar Tpower i45 with an E8500 (air) and a variety of Crossfire combos. Both with 2x1gb of Ballistix (DDR2/3 PC2/3 8500) FSP 350w/ Galaxy DXX 1000w PSU's.
