Try and go into the options and select to test your ram only, not cpu only and not cpu and ram and let me know what you come up with. Can you run a custom (1H) test as successfully as a 30 min test?
I use the ballistix on my board. try using all default settings on the ram page auto everything. don't worry this is just temporary, make sure it is stable then reboot and make minor adjustments until you get to a good compromise of speed and latency. mine never acted right until after I did that. now they run fine and I manually tweak the primary timings. sub-timings I leave to auto.
