Have you try your sticks in other board, just to confirm that they are able to do that frequency at CAS3? It would eliminate the mobo factor.

Since i have the p5e board running q6600 along with 2 gigs of crucial ballistix at 4,4,4,12 auto voltage wit no problems, is there any settings in bios tat i should switch for maybe better performance?
any of you guys got 1T running on ya boards ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
How do i make my p5e run 1t, whenever i put tat option on in bios, i blue screen all the time when booting, im running crucial balistix 800mhz stock with 4,4,4,12 settings and stock voltages?
O.K. - here's one more for all my friends here:
X38 offers a maximum of stability at low voltage niveau. Still FSB 1.30, PLL 1.50 and set NB to 1.43 and RAM to 2.42 volts.
I never had a board running such hi RAM frequencies at strong timings and sub-timings with such low NB & RAM voltage settings.
BTW - LLC set to disabled, did the pencil mod. Vdroop = 0.000% !!!![]()

thnx for the welcome guys...
a little disturbing noone else has been able to confirm my 0303 p5e bios story so far, anywho dunno if i mentioned tried ordering some new ram to test with 4gb crucial pc2-8500... and might get a g0 q6600 too instead of my b3...
anywho, that pencil vdroop mod, did anybody confirm that for quadcore as well?
//devnull
anybody?on how to make my p5e run 1t with crucial ballistix 6400 at stock speeds?
My G.Skills have just arrived. Testing stability@1110Mhz 2,15v right now![]()

how anyone is managing to prime stable @1t over 800mhz with decent timings i dont know.... so i would appreciate some advice in this area also....
just tried 1t with no glory..... and stargazer how dare you buy ram that good..... jk
1110@1.15 is amazing pal. not only are you getting the speed but your not degrading your ram with excessive volts to get there.... impressed m8.....

just managed 1232mhz @ 2.3V, but we know this board overvolts the memory 0.04 and i've had these D9's for ages so i havnt kept the speed for 24/7 use.... if only i could get it stable at low volts......
its good to know i can push my ram that far for benching.....
Prolly more like 5-5-5-15 :p you mad man !!

Exactly, this 2x2GB sweet spot is at 5-5-5-15, maybe I can do 5-5-3-15 like other XS members have done with this kit. 2,14v in BIOS was for a quick test, now I´m going to low the voltage of both RAM and NB, and see how far the subtimings can go. But keep in mind, this sticks are not Micron D9 based, so no crazy voltage ready/needed![]()

This RAM doesn´t love voltage. Remember that is not Micron based and is a 2x2GB kit. Max freq is about 570Mhz at 2,2v. Doesn´t matter how many voltage you throw at them, they won´t go higher. Anyway, I bought them for 24/7 use, and that speed is pretty good for 2x2![]()
