Do 90nm survive more than that?

I don´t know but I think no The most I could do was 2.01 volts about an 3500+ Venice E3....then I never get one cpu that could do that

    Hehe, I find another screen: 3700+ @ 2.032 V

Maybe I can try 2v++ on some of my crap chips lol. We'll see Did it on a clawhammer, but that's not TOO much. At least it survived, which means it wasn't enough.

Won't be any benching this weekend, btw. Too much work @ Univ etc etc etc...

But next weekend I hope there will be more scores from my CPU vault.

The 3400+ Newcastle socket 939 record is now mine....but I wonder how horrible cold bug that old cpus have
Only 219 Mhz @ -38°C....that is nothing for an Newcastle...
Have to do better temps on that cpu so i need -10°C and I will crack the 3 Ghz.

check out old FX55 benching when the cores were clawhammer, pedro rocha used ln2 for those runs, first chip over 4ghz was 130nm too btw.

    My main targets are:

    Opty 150
    Opty 165
    Opty 185
    X2 4200+ Toledo
    X2 4800+
    3500+ SD
    3500+ venice
    3700+ SD

I want a few more, but I need better cooling for any FX WR's. Not so sure I can break all of these, but I'm pretty sure I can get that 150 WR, as well as the X2 4200+. The rest... we'll see Hope I have a little bit luck with the coldbug.

@ gianni, I only have a CAB1E 0607APMW 3500+ Venice, the results for KACAE 0607APMW aren't too good so I have a feeling it's not so golden. But maybe the 0617 is! I don't need THAT high clocks after all.

My FX53 has a coldbug. 250MHz FSB didn't work @ ~-40c (not so sure about the temp, but it did have a bug on dice). Same with my FX55 Clawhammer, btw. Not sure exactly where it had a bug, but it's not my mobo, or my memory that made it reboot. And not cpu speed either, as I was running a low multi.

    I bought a DFi nf3 250gb a few months ago, actually.

I'm benching with a friend, as all my stuff is in his garage (and he's the one who can get dice for free :p), and he wants to see high numbers, a 3ghz s754 is of no interest to him i think. But once I get a phase change unit I'll bench the 3 or 4 s754 chips here in my apartment

I hope I'll be able to bench AM2 someday, too. It all depends on the money... And when DFi releases a 790 board.

BC's have a bug i think. My FX55 won't do very high htt under dice, at least.

BH's are much better And BG's

So... how much have you tested your fx55, then? I mean... how high htt @ what temps?

BH are the best And Single Stage wont be the best cooling for an FX You will need better cooling like casade or LN2.

Yesterday my FX-53 and the 5 Opteron 150 arrived. The Opterons all have 0532 MPMW Stepping, same wafer-id only the batch is various.

The Opteron 150 wr is hard to bet ---> bruce and I will fight back
