    Where is LANPARTY X38-T2R/T3R

Do we have any idea when these boards are coming? dont want no ASUS crap. And after this great DFI LP P35, wets my appetite for the X38 version.
    I will go DDR3 for that T3R.

I wouldn't be looking for the the DDR3 version till the first of the year. Ram prices need to come down some.

yeah but lots of 2nd hand kits arent too badly priced so not that much an issue. i wouldnt pay retail though, no way.

hmmm DFI back to its old tricks of being last out the blocks. come on guys, we know you can make the best X38 board.

Not meaning to split hairs but the X38 aint naked, it has an IHS. DFI has a problem i heared with the BIOS and HSF.

Ditch the HSF use basicly single, indervidal parts

    Dumb question, can you fit a pci-e x1 card into a pci-e x4 slot?

D.F.I needs to Pull the Hooks out of their Ass for sure if they want to stay in business!
DFI P35 is awesome and screams, now if they could just show up to the game on time perhaps ....well not perhaps...definitely they would gain the audience and take the show!

I want one of these bad.

    The QX9650 will be used.

I have an extreme system, but it would bore you guys as it holds 3 x 32bit PCI Scope Fusion Platform DSP cards.

This 4U DAW will be overclocked thanks to you guys here, and I will post how far my apps. remain stable while OC'ng the hind end off.

I hope someone gets this and shows us how good the combo I describe can be pushed.

ETA for the LP X38 changed from 12th november to november...:
    http://www.motherboardpro.com/DFI-LA...ATX-p-376.html

But there is a LT Version of the DFI X38 which will be available in limited quantities 12.-13.th november

...so I hope they are just optimising the cooling solution for the LP version and are not trying to re-invent the wheel...

Holy cow, this stinks. I just got my DFI P35 board to hold me over until the X38 board arrives, which I thought wouldn't be until January or so. What a waste of money!!! Guess I will just have to get this one and sell the other off cheap...(I want the second pci-e slot at at least 8x for my Areca raid card).
