i would recommend removing the pad from the PWM and use a good thermal paste...my 1st choice would be ceramique but you do what you think is the best for your system.
as for prime 95 or orthos...i just read a post where this guy built this overclock system for another person and before he sent to him, he ran it for 24 hours on orthos without a hiccup...but...after the guy used it and went to move it to another location, it would not post at all....he thought he had built a solid system that was fool proof...my point is, and i think you understand now, that prime 95 or orthos guarantees you nothing....SO...why bother unless you are going to fold 24/7...there i see prime 95 or orthos might prove to be a valuable tool...but...that is the only one that comes to my mind.
