I have 2 RAIDs and have no problems. I enable RAID in the bios. I install the Intel Matrix Storage Console. If "Volume Write-Back Cache" is not enabled, I right click the RAID volume and enable it.
The device manager will not show the change because it is controlled by the Intel Matrix Storage Console. No changes should be made in the Device Manager settings. And are seen in Device Manager under "Storage Controllers/ Intel...)
