I've been reading this forum for a couple of days now, and been waiting for my registration to be activated so i could finely post a reply It's a great topic! There's not much to find out there for striker extreme with q6600 combo!

Anyway,

I've got:

Striker Extreme (1303 bios)
Q6600 G0
MSI 8800 GTX
4x1GB pc6400 ddr2 cl4 800mhz mem from dual ballistix
2x Samsung 500 GB hard disks
Scythe infinity with as5

Been having some issues with the striker since day one. After install, the bios hanged after 10 sec. Removed 2 memery sticks, flashed bios to 1305. Wich worked, but only on auto. Overclocking was a no go with the 1305. So downflashed to 1303 wich is recomended in a lot of forums.

Finally i'm having some succes with overclocking. Have got it running stable on 3.0 and loose mem timings of 5-5-5-15. Other crap is disabled and voltage are still all on auto. When i set to manual vcore and mem, i still have a pretty stable oc for 3.0 Ghz

But as soon is i try to clock to 3.2 for instance the oc is not stable anymore. The actual Vcore is about 0.1 lower as the bios setting. The drop from idle to load is about 0.03 i believe.

Can anyone help me out. I would really like my proc to run at 3.4 stable for 24/7 use. Some bios settings that can push me in the right direction would be very much apreciated.
