I've been able to run 600MHz 4-4-4-4 1T (see pic) with the IP35 Pro, but this ***tty mobo doesn't let me boot at 1280+. The same RAM does superpi 1M at 700MHz 5-5-5-15 with Blitz Formula, so it's a mobo problem.

    Too bad, ABIT.

I had the problem with values not being applied on my AW9D-Max. Turns out that if I disable Vanderpool technology it won't let me save any values and reverts to a default. I have to have it enabled in bios all the time. I know its not the same board, but its exactly the same symptom, so worth a shot I think. GL .

you might need to increase your MCH to about 1.4x volt range and ICHIO 1.5 to about 1.6v if you are up near 490...at 450, you might be able to keep default.

I run my IP35-E 24/7 at 475 FSB with 5:6 memoryratio, MHC@default, ICHIO 1.5@1.65. If i keep ICHIO at default programs crashing when i boot to windows. Picture

I can see that the 4 caps near the bottom of the board are taller, and the traces and a couple of chips near the top-most PCI slot are different.

i don't think there is any difference...what i see is shadows being cast by the person who took the image...light conditions, moving the camera slightly and focus can make things look very different!
