Probably i've seen it wrong. But you can always guide yourself for the resistors measures.

Seems there's an even better way to vmod the STL6714 controller - I recommend that this method be used over my own as you'll inject less noise into the circuit.

I think this is definately the best option for the moment if your 8800GT is not booting, but I dont gaurentee this will work..

Very nice, though this does mean, I have to find someone with a USB Drive as well as an available computer to flash the card I need to purchase since I don't have a second system.

Looks Like a hidden Via Bios exists that lets you changes all sorts of settings.

Could someone Techy please try it and explain what it’s all about.

It may all be untrue, I guess a simple push of "F9 DEL" at the same time will prove this claim.

well it hadn't worked for me and the more I read that the more it sounds like a spoof post. F9 is the "load optimal settings" key, there never has been a Pentium 4.1Ghz processor, it shouldn't take several hours to "get into a BIOS" and the spelling is all over the place.

I've just modified my 4coredual-vsta board with the vmods in the thread and everything seems to work good. I have a few questions before I actually start insulating the board and making everything ready for some - kick ass - AGP benching.

1) Has anyone figured out the vDroop mod? Vcore is swinging too much for me
2) Has anyone got a clear picture of the readout points? I've found both vcore and vdimm points, but haven't found the vagp and vtt yet.
3) Latest bios = best bios? I reckon not and probably should read through the entire thread to know the answer. What are the modded biosses offering more instead of the official ones?

I'm not really fond of desoldering resistors and capacitors even though it might be better. Isn't there a normal, easy way to modify the vDroop?
