    That's a beautiful build RX7boricua!

Are you missing hose clamps on the rear radiator?

That build really makes me want to get this case! Quick question, how much room is there under the motherboard? It looks to be around 200mm, but does anyone have an exact figure?

    Great job!

A question on your Southbridge fan ... which one is that? And, is it quiet?

As an aside - I'm still trying to find out where all those pumps are

Whoa, you guys rock! It feels good to know that others enjoy your humble little rig. It makes it all worth it. Now to answer your questions...

disruptfarm, the purple is definitely wearing on me, I think I'll keep it as is. The pictures were taken with my new Canon EOS 30D digital SLR, using my 17-85mm f4-5.6 lens with image stabilization. I agree, this setup definitely looks better than my old one, and it performs better too!

Jedda, I'm still getting used to the camera, so the white balance looks like it may have a slightly yellow hue to it compared to real life, but the pics are very close to real life.

step, the case is a standard MM U2-UFO Horizon with 3 big window panels and a triple 5.25" bay 120mm fan mount. I'm not sure how much space there is under the motherboard tray. I will take a measurement for you when I get home from work tonight.

annaconda, louie, Sig, and Nate, thanks for the nice words!

IanY, I think the Corsair fan looks much better in all black, good luck with moddin yours!

shazza, Yugen is correct, it's an Evercool VC-RE, $9 at Petra's Tech and quiet, unlike the EVGA southbridge fan. The CPU loop pumps are underneath the motherboard tray on the floor next to the rear radiator outlet. The GPU pumps are in the front floor of the case. I actually flipped the 5.25" triple bays upsidedown and put a pump underneath it, with the other pump between the two 5.25" bays, it fits perfectly there. More reasons why I flipped the bays upsidedown were to act as a duct to feed fresh air back under the motherboard to the rear radiator, and to cover as much of the DVD drive as possible.

Typhon, thanks! And yes, I'm missing 4 hose clamps, namely on the rear radiator, one on the GPU reservoir, and one on the NB block. I ran out of clamps due to adding the reservoirs to the loop, and the hardware store here in Kuwait is kinda far away. The 7/16" hose is so tight on the 1/2" barbs that it shouldn't be an issue, but I'm going to get clamps on everything as soon as possible.

Wild-Wing, if you're referring to the window, the two drives attached to the 120.3 are WD Raptor X 150GBs which come that way stock. Unfortunately, I don't have the stones to perform a mod like that on my own. :P

I will get a few more pictures of the case with the top on when I get home from work, and will add them to the first post. I realized that I forgot to get some with the top on!

Yeah Jedda, Canon has definitely pumped out some really nice digital cameras in recent years. I also have an SD800 IS point and shoot that I love. It's tiny! The Nikon DSLR stuff is nice as well, but it's my inexperienced opinion that Nikkor cannot hold a candle to Canon L glass. Just look at the sidelines of any sporting event, it's a sea of white lenses! I also have a 70-200 F4L lens that is amazing. If there were more to shoot in this sandbox of a country, I'd probably be selling my computer stuff to finance lens purchases. :P

septim, yes the camera was expensive, but just look at the pictures it took of my computer! I'd say it was worth it. :P

I'm from a time when all pros used nikon or hasselblad, even NASA. lol
Still have a 1,000mm mirror lense I used to hand hold at sporting events.
But nikon sat on their laurels for too long and didn't embrace the digital thing with enough commitment. Got left behind.

Love how you've chosen the understated option consistently through your box. The corsair cooler mod to basic black, fan grills etc. That focuses attention on the few hi-lighted colours. WTG

I snapped a few more pictures tonight of the case with the top on. A few came out a little grainy due to my limited light. Oh well, enjoy!

On a side note, I'm currently toying with speeds above 3.7ghz after loading the P31 BIOS. It'll be interesting to see if the P31 helps at all.

Classic 80's movie with Kurt Russel, Big Trouble in Little China, funny waste of time.

Nice build, I love my horizon also, mine is a bit more cramped, Have a second PSU to run the pumps and fans and such, just for S&G's.

I added the HDD's to the mcr220 in the bottom, 4HDD 2 raptor X's also and 2 500GB seagates, even with push pull config in the bottom they still fit nicely.

The pics suck as they were way scaled down for attachment rules of the site, but you get the point, and yeah, cable management is for weenies, lol

Mommy, I want one! I LOVE the horizonal look. I've always wanted a case that positioned the motherboard like that without being a server rack case. I am jealous!

Nice work, and so clean too!

I didn't like how the fan hubs had little marks on them, so I carefully peeled the round black stickers off the underside of the fans, and centered 'em on the fan hubs, replacing them with the Corsair stickers.

I kinda like the little exposed screws on it, it's like a mini version of the top/front of my case!
Great Dominator fan mod there. I might do the same myself as well to remove the blue and keep the sexy black stuff How hard it is to peel the stickers off the casing ?
