Awesome Patriote, I can't wait to see how this turns out. You have pretty much the same components as I do, with the exception of dual pumps per loop. I've got two extra MCP355's with PT tops if you're interested! :P I had two, and I bought 4 from H20 recently. I kept my two original ones as spares since I've heard that once every 25 years or so, an MCP355 somewhere in the world dies.
    Main Rig:
    Q6600 G0 @3.7ghz 1.425V - EVGA 680i A1 (Vdroop mod) - 4GB G.Skill HZ DDR2-800 @1000mhz - EVGA 8800 Ultra SLI @710/2460mhz - 2x WD Raptor X 150GB RAID 0 - 2x WD 500GB RAID 1 - 1x WD 320GB eSATA External - SB X-Fi XtremeMusic - Enermax Galaxy DXX 1000W - NEC 16X DVD±RW DL - 2x Dell 2405FPW (Dual monitor w/ SLI!) - ATI Radeon X300 - MM U2-UFO Horizon
    Dual loops:
    D-Tek FuZion (Bowed) - PA120.3 - Dual DDC2+ w/ PT tops - Swiftech MicroRes - Distilled w/ Red UV dye
    2x EK FC8800 - DD680i NB - PA120.2 - Dual DDC2+ w/ PT tops - Swiftech MicroRes - G11 UV
Temps: 28-29degC idle / 46-48degC load with MX-2! Pics of my build!

    Dedicated Cruncher:
    Lapped E6600 @3.6ghz - MSI P35 Platinum - 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 @933mhz - MSI 8500GT - 320GB WD - Lapped Big Typhoon - Seasonic M12 700W

Oh, hell yeah i am interested! Give me sometime to get back on my feet and i will buy them from you!

    PS: Lil update guys!

NCIX.com will refund my back-ordered PA120.2 and i have ordered one from Jab-Tech and it's already shipped!

Also, my Dell 24" has been shipped!

And more stuff (Second NCIX.com order) arrived today but no one was home, so tomorrow i'll try to make them come back since their "contoir" is pretty damn far from here...

And for the bad news, Xoxide.com don't want to open the keyboard package of the new one they'll send me for the one im about to RMA to them. They say because all package comes factory sealed and blah-blah-blah... WTF! It ain't complicated and i just want to make sure i don't end up with the new keyboard with the same problems!

Linus man, I just love NCIX.com! Seriously, i have only good things to say about NCIX.com. Fast RMA even when not choosing the Express RMA insurance. Customer service is more than impeccable. I asked if i could get refunded for the back-order PA120.2 and they quickly replied back to me, as always, whit a nice "Hi James" and a "I have forwarded your request to our processing department. They will remove the part from your order and refund the payment back to your credit card account.". Simply awesome. I have RMAed 3 kit of ram in a few months and each and every times, the RMA went smooth, quick and trouble-less.

NCIX.com is definitely one of the best (If not the best) store in Canada for enthusiast. They have from MM cases to Ek waterblock! Awesome!

Ok guys, i need help here.

My problem is that, on the back of that EVGA 680I, there are a lot of "Transistors" (Not sure what the right name is...) and i have to mount a back plate behind that mobo. One for my Tuniq when i'll be using it and then one more for my FuZion. The problem is that those little transistors are going to either touch or be like really close to the metal back-plate... So i was thought of cutting 3 small pieces of Black Electrical tape to cover them up in case the back-plate would touch them. Good idea? What do you guys think about this?

    Heres some pics to explain.

But first, you guys should know that i have been working all evening on cleaning the back of the mobo since the friend who sold me that mobo was using a rather weird backplate which was hooked onto the back of the mobo with some sort of sticky sticker\stuff. And i have been working all evening to try to remove that freaking gunk\glue! With a lot of alcohol, fresh air since it would make me be dizzy after a while and some time, i managed to clean it off.

Here is what it looks after the removal of the backplate and then after the cleaning :

And heres those little "Transistors" that are in the way :

And here is what it looks like with 3 small pieces of Black Electrical tape :

So what do you guys think, am i safe?

PS: I am like 99% sure that neither of those small "Transistors" are going to be crushed with the backplate. The black electrical tape is just in case of a small\tiny contact...

personally I always put 1/4" of foam between my board and my backplate when I'm unsure.

all that and then a tuniq tower? kinda disappointing.

you can spray the back of that motherboard with either silicone or rubber in a can, i had to do the same thing with another board, unfortunately all i had on tap was red high temperature exhaust manifold paint for a car but it worked great.

shorting it out is an issue for sure but what about the pressure applied to thems delicate lil things?

maybe get a diff back plate?

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, a Tuniq tower to begin with. Run the beast on air for a day or 2 until the case is ready, then all hooked onto watercooling.

Linus, where can i find such foam ?

BTW: I can't use a different back-plate since the one for the Tuniq is specially designed for the Tuniq and neither the custom one Turtle included or my Thermalright will cut it for the Tuniq. Only solution i see is to hook a piece of foam. But now, where can i find such ? I have some "noise absorption and insulation" stuff. Would that be all right ?

    Thanks guys!

Hey guys! Look what i just found :

It's a piece of Neopropene work mat that came with my bench table. To prevent the PSU and Optical drives to move. I think that would be perfect between my mobo and back-plate. What you guys think ? It's only 1-2mm thick tho.

Really good for all those odd insulating jobs.
Used it on a back plate last week. Just let dry first before fitting the thing.

Tip, never ever stick a back plate on a board. Depending on the store, you may not be able to take it back if it's faulty.
