It's probably your RAM. Run memtest86 test #5 for 50 loops. SP is very sensitive to RAM.

I uped the vcore from 1.25v to 1.28; still got errors. Then I upped it to 1.30v; still errors. Memory is at 5-5-5-15 2.2v. It checks out ok with memtest through all the tests over 6 hours, and it also passed 62 tests of #5 test before I stopped it.

i will be surprised if you get P95 at 3.9Ghz...i got up to 4.2Ghz; stable enough to do email and surf the web...that was it!
P95 crashes @ 3.8 after 5 minutes. But it's weird because I can run WCG for hours and multi-task with extreme 3d applications such as Bioshock w/ no symptoms of crash or any thing of such sort. So I find 3.8 to be stable. 1.54V set in bios. DMM shows 1.51v - Idle & Load (vdroop mod). Running with C1E and EIST stable so it goes down to 1.38v according to DMM @2538mhz. I don't think the extra 200mhz is worth it temporarily for that big of a jump in voltage.

Help me choose so far I have the following choices (all include C1E + EIST):
    *Voltages taken from DMM
    3,200mhz @ 1.280v
    3,600mhz @ 1.420v
    3,807mhz @ 1.510v

    Thanks

Debating to do the heatpipe mod or not. I've been running the volts on everything including southbridge at the medium voltage settings and vcore set to 1.585 in Bios on dual burn for 1 hour. Room temps ambient is 83 to 84F. After 1 hour My temps are 79C on the PWM. That's not too bad considering the voltage I'm pumping though the whole board on all the heatsinks. The whole pipe assembly is hot. I guess I got good contact on all 3 heat sources right? The mb is not in the case at the moment (open desk system).

no fans. I topped it out at 80c with 1.595 and the ambient being 85F. I think my board is good to go w/o the heatpipe mod because my other board would hit 95c when the room was 80F and less vcore.

I think everyone should be happy with this BIOS.

    Beta 16

As always, use at your own risk, no official support, not yet anyways.

guys, this beta bios is excellent!...i tried it compliments of "Bingo13" (AKA) Gary Key of Anandtech fame...many thanks to him for the pre-trial test prior to relasing it for general use...

one of the "major" changes in this beta is the puter will no longer shutdown after changing bios settings and then saving them....good news for those who are using phase cooling.

for quad users, i was not able to crank my FSB any higher but i did see a jump in performance!

    3dmark05 and pcmark05 all had improvement along with superpi 1m...previously 14 secs, now, 13.4 secs @ 3.84Ghz...

IP35-E still stuck at the snail-paced 13 BIOS?

Thanks Bingo. I like the boot screen. I haven't noticed any faster performance, but then again it was fast as hell to begin with So far I've noticed only 3 new features after flashing from bios11. One is that now you can choose if you want the onboard sound in AC97 or HD Audio. Second is that there are 5 slots for you to save your custom bios config into. You can also name these profiles. Finally is the one that Ace mentioned; your computer will not turn off when you save in bios. I'll be on the lookout for anything that's new in this version. Thanks again

Is there a date for the final release of the BIOS? I can't afford a bad flash.

I don't know if it will help for vdroop, but I do recommend flashing to beta 16 ASAP.

Does he have to rename the file?
    The guide says no http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=2023

I followed the instructions exactly as they say without renaming the file but the awdflash hungs.. No harm done but also no flash done..

I would recommend changing it to something simple. Such as 16.b01. You must change the runme.bat by right clicking and editing the file. For the last line, put 16.b01. Obviously you have to rename the actual bios to 16.b01. Worked for me.

in DOS, the file name can not be any longer than 8 alphanumeric characters in order for the DOS program to work...this does not include the file extension.

Has anyone else experienced this issue as well, where the system hangs at a "CMOS checksum error" screen? I haven't the slightest clue what could have gone wrong since the board worked fine earlier.
