How about put a divider into each modular piece, like the vertical piece in the bottom one that keeps it from making a cyclone. I'm thinking if you were to have maybe four of those together, running four loops, each with large pumps, it could create a cyclone halfway up the length of the cylinders.

I was under the assumption that each res was separate but they all connect together like lego blocks. That's what I would want.

Interesting idea.

Breaking it down- is it solving an existing problem for us? Yea, multiple loops requires multiple resevoirs. However, I don't see this saving any more room.

Plus, you now have a res cap with 2 points of failure at the threading, instead of the single one. I can see someone twisting the top and bottom resevoirs to tighten- and end up stipping the acrylic.

Integrating the DCC tops? Hrmm.. they are popular pumps, but not something I would swap my two MCP 655 pumps for.

I think we need some basic info about who would use this. A simple poll asking how many loops people are running in a single system. But I do see your logic. Once the milling was setup, these would give you some compeditive advantage.

However, if there was a direct need we WC folks have is the lack of mosfet cooling options for the eVGA 680i motherboard. (I know, margins must be smaller and your shop is probably running over capacity on waterblocks)

I can't see the point in the multi attach one that you first posted about Eddy. The only reason I can see for including more barbs is to thread off different components in parallel.

There would not be enough flow to certain blocks this way.

DDC top seems like a good idea, only alphacool do one that I'm aware of and it can be improved.

Here's what I'd like to buy - a ~100-120mm tall multi-option res. Two of them, actually, and I'd prefer to have a vortex effect.

From the first pics you've posted, it looks like you're thinking of using shorter pieces to allow longer chains or reservoirs to fit in our cases. If you do decide to offer reservoirs less than 170mm tall, I'll take two.

In This thread about half way Ambro has a pic of his rig showing his EK-150 direct coupled to his DDC2+PTS head. Looks like the DD 3/8" fitting.
I've wondered how this would work out for my own build. Vortex and weight on the head top are my concerns.

Would it be possible to make it dual chambers? Cuzz for dual loops rigs, one res over the other would kick some major @ss for ppls that are space restricted! Just an idea.

Yeah--looks great--I have a Tribal spinner I am installing for a client and I am not too impressed with the actual construction. The bond lines could be better and the tapping of the ports looks terrible like the tap was ready for the bin.

Apparently a couple of these reservoirs have fallen to bits...

I lkke the EK design with threads and O-Rings--takes the glue out of the equation.

Yes, he seems to be stronger as an artist than a craftsman.

EKs are well made and visually pleasing enough, although with two loops feeding through it I'd wonder about recreating Cyclone Tracy.
I guess it'd be all about how you plumbed it.
