I have and use it that way. From a engineering point of view its completely logical in theory and in practice. I most certainly feel that it would excel as a all in one complete cooling package used in conjunction with a D-TEK Fusion block on the CPU it will increase you're cpu temps by 2-3c but also allow you're more critical areas to run much cooler as a direct result.

A few pages back Pc2Decimal posted extensive testing in all combinations with this Transpiper cooling system and his results and effort speak for themselves.
