I've bought high end AMD, I've bought high end Intel. Even at budget levels both are a much of a muchness for price at their given performance levels.

I'll put my money where the performance is regardless of brand. I whole heartedly support competition but fanboi-ism just sucks, imho.

Also, I've just seen some Aussie pricing for the K10 Opterons and they're AUD$550 each so I'm not sure what all the "price/performance" talk is about.
