    Wow, amazing dude.

One a few things i will chang

Pump mount, thicker stiffer so it's not bending!

Flip the NB and Mosfet routing round then you can lose that 90* to the GFX and have it direct.

Outlet from GFX make longer, it will be okay to touch the rad and loop back.

Micro res i'd get higer, it will feed pump more and higher it is add more flow and presure to the loop! Also trying to get a direct feed to the pumps inlet.

Every 90*is what 2ft extra tubing, so thats 6ft alone extra. Even if it's 1ft thats still 3ft extra to pump

This is my obervation from photos and i am not the expert you are as it is your rig. As it is it works and is perfect and is a credit to you for getting all that in there!

    Hello everyone
Just curious about the Ek Wave. How are the cpu temps?

    thanks for the comments.

yea - i've been considering a tubing change. I mentioned this in another thread but when i laid this out in 2D, I pictured more of a loop-to-loop look that really didn't pan out. So there's no real reason to obstruct the inlet of the GFX block.

The location of the Micro-RES isn't thrilling me either. I'm thinking a reservoir that connects directly to the Alphacool top is in order...

temp wise and probably flow wise - i'd say it's probably a step down from my previous Apogee vanilla but only by a small amount.

but after picking up the 8800 EK block, i fell in love w/ the copper and the way it looked so i had to get them all around (except for the mosfets - tough to find an EK ASUS Mosfet-3 block)

when u say 'a step down' does that mean temperatures are lower OR the performance of the block is lower (ie higher temps)

this thread is interesting cause with my next upgrade i want to water cool it BUT i am thinking i will practice on my current amd 939 setup -- and if anything goes wrong it just means i have to upgrade quicker

edit:- also where did u get those blocks from (they looks fantastic)... u can pm me the deals if you prefer and hopefully i can get them in au

I was implying that the performance of the EK was a possibly a step down (downgrade) based on the few reviews out there of the block that i've read as well as preliminary temp results on my setup.
Granted, I have a far different setup w/ more components and it isn't really a 1 to 1 comparison between my old Apogee vanilla and the EK Wave.

939 is a great platform to watercool IMO. Plenty of parts to choose from.

All but one of my waterblocks are made by EK. I personally don't know their availability in AUS. Overall good quality blocks and easy on the eyes as well imo.

I am currently running the Alphacool res and DDC top all in one. Seams okay. I stuffed some pump filter foam into the barb to stop it frothin up much. If you do that you will need a stronger pump mount for sure!

Dexster EK stuff isn't retailed in aus yet. If you want some you'll be sourcing direct from EK in europe or from Petra's in the US. Both are OK with shipping costs that are built in to comparable products' pricing in aus. I can recomend either with Petra's slightly easier to pay, as EK require direct deposit while Petra's use PayPal.

    thanks for the replies...
currently emailing EK to working out exactly which chipset blocks i need for my mobo..
the cpu and gfx blocks are quite easy to work out

between the cool looking EK blocks and stormshadow's very tidy build i am inspired to try water cooling
