    don't know exactly what you mean by: "benchmark your system against something that doesn't exist."

    you have certainly not been attentive to other posts...i posted the below image earlier in this thread.

    i think my temperatures are low for 3.9 Ghz running Everest stability test on all FOUR cores; albeit this run is outside the case...if i slapped this system back into my gigabyte Aurora case with two 120mm exhaust fans in the rear, i might see about a 3C increase in cpu temp and maybe 1-2C increase in PWM temp.

    a 3C increase added to 50C cpu temperature is STILL damn cool for a Q6600 running all FOUR cores at 100%!

    just because you cannot attain this kind of temperature cooling on "AIR" does not make it impossible for others to do!...RIGHT!?
