New hardware making you feel young again Vince ? Excellent work.

Bodes well for Intel 45nm, will be very interesting seeing your cooling on that.

    Regards

I cant get any drivers validated on the ORB at the moment so I stoped benching when I noticed. Have e-mailed Nick about it. After a few modification to Blitz I managed to get it running ok. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2801368
Nice!, looks like Jason has convinced you that you were on the wrong board for 2006 . I have that same exact setup here and I know what it is capable of

I compared Kingpin and Kinc his results.
Kinc wins in SM2 and SM3, but has much lower CPU score.
According to 3dmark06 score calculator Kinc could reach 26711 with Kingpin his CPU score

    kingpin

    3DMark Score 26454 3DMarks
    SM 2.0 Score 10581 Marks
    SM 3.0 Score 11798 Marks
    CPU Score 8090 Marks

    kinc

    3DMark Score 26303 3DMarks
    SM 2.0 Score 10673 Marks
    SM 3.0 Score 11978 Marks
    CPU Score 7502 Marks

Really nice results both of you

I finally got a ok QX6850 (5050-5100 on blitz with -110C 1.88V) and I noticed while killing my last p5w64 that it really cant handle more than 5050MHz or so in quad for 3dmark 06, at least with the cpus I have. This cpu didnt scale over 1.8V to start with. The power circuit couldnt handle the load. But after adding 5 1000uF caps it continued to scale up to 1.88V.

Man just put your cpu and your F1 pot on that blitz and fire the 2900's up! A quadzilla like that desrves to shine as much as it ever can

I think AW9D-MAX would be better for power delivery. I have a broken one that could be fixed if you want it?

You, memesama, Tam, Omega, Kyosen, and all the rest of the Japanese legends have had such an impact and influence on me in my 3d world. I owe alot of what I do today with LN2 and the containers to you guys...much respect and props from me ALWAYS.

Vince you benched at 5174mhz and got roughly 26.5K...
But here you bench at 5300mhz .(singel card though)

Is sli that heavy that you can't bench at 5.3ghz with the quad?
Benching difference on cpu(max speed), at sli or single , it's there(the max speed change)?
Or still the injury that gives you problems?
