    k|ngp|n, your insane. awesome results.

didnt know that you skateboarded in the past, i was somewhat sure that there were really no skateboarders who ventured over into overclocking besides me and maybe a few handful of others, no big names though.

hope you heal up nice and fast. awesome benches as always!

i no longer use a laptop.

Benching difference on cpu(max speed), at sli or single , it's there(the max speed change)?
Or still the injury that gives you problems?

For SLI yes, 3D Single Card 975X is still the king ( in combination with a free multi, some bad ass fatbody or nasty d9gmh sticks )

Yep, DDR2 in certain circumstances depending on how the dividers pan out, either way P35 is the ticket.

975X is a very strong platform, but it's getting quite long in the tooth.

P35 is alot faster because of higher fsb and ram bandwidth.

Sorry I didn't take DDR3 into consideration, because of its current pricing
    But for AquaMark 3 I still think/feel that a 975X @ 475ish with 1:1 fatbody RAM and proper tweaking will surpass P35 + top-notch ( currently ) DDR3.

Might try it out next week if I have my P5W DH back.

Yeah if you manage to get 480+ 1:1 3-3-3-4 on 975 to work without the board dying rather quickly it will be good competition for P35, but that's not the easiest thing. GL running 480 on quad with 975 also. I think KP knows what's best

    480MHz FSB on 975X and a Quad ? Who ? I wasn't talking about Quad...

I had a good P5W DH that did 1:1 @ 475 FSB and 3-3-3-4 but it died while it was...no...not benchmarking...not orthos...while it was packed in its box sitting in my room
And that was on stock board ( no mods ) and Vmch @ 1.85V on stock cooling ( + a fan above NB HSF )

Anyways...I better stop looking at such threads now 'cause I'm getting 'frustrated' I haven't benched seriously ( LN2 ) since May

p.s. let's stop it here, and not ruin Vince's nice thread

I've benched SLI nearly at 5250mhz for full 2006 actually
680i/SLI seems to be about 100mhz or so behind p35.

This chip could do 5400mhz+ for 2006 with 4 cores enabled when it's said and done...still learning it on this unit.
DragonF1 is owning this quad so hard atm on all platforms
This is EXACTLY what it was designed for. Container was empty for last helf of deep freeze cuz I ran out on this run and it still didn't lock.
Broke 8500 cpu score today with 5350mhz quad 4 cores fully enabled for full 06 on ddr3:

Sometime between saturday and monday I will post some pics of the unit

Replacing that cpu score with your old 06 run you pick up 300 points alone giving you 26713. Not taking into account your sm2 and sm3 scores improving.

Good stuff Vince, I am sure the ORB down is holding you up too.

Where do you have that memory running at now?

Hopefully we hear from Macci before September 10th, eagerly awaiting those benches.

AMD/ATI should be able to pull off some good numbers to keep the competition exciting.

Vince keeps raising the bar, heh.

I think about 780mhz 6-5-5-15-1T on that one. If I kick up to 1800mhz div say cas 7+, I end up with lower overall FSB which is more of a hit at this point. If it keeps scaling to 5400mhz at these settings, it will be lightning fast.

nah not laughing at all...maybe I give the wrong impression with all these green smilies . I am no macci lol. Sami and the rest of the guys in his league like Hipro and shamino I will always consider to be a few notches above me on the orb food chain no matter whether they are actively benching or not.

Of course I am gonna pimp the new cpu unit a little, but it is a great clocking chip too. Being able to set the temp to whatever I want no matter what game test is also a plus

About wich temps are we speaking then?(empty run)

Workin very hard for 27k...3 units still a for me atm, but trying my best. One or two more bumps on cpu with cards at full tilt should do it
Nice speed bump to 26.7k, broke 8200 cpu score SLI @5250mhz striker with cards at milder clocks here.
