badarse action vince... i see you're teasin with some warm up action... eck now u just need an sli equivalent of p5k for 5.3G sly action.

  2. #27
I tried some 3 container action the other night Sham, and it was really really hard to do with leg and arm in immobilizer. I think I may have to wait some time still before I can tear it up in SLI, atleast until I can stand on my own. Still testing the chip though the best I can. I posted a score up in HOF with weak card clocks sub 900 for now.

Here is one of those heart attack shots from F1 testing....
How about quadcore at 5300mhz+ for full 3dmark2006 run.
Corsair dd3 modules are smoking all the way up to ddr3 950mhz 7-6-5-15
Here I am using cas 6/2.1v.

    System:
    QX6850 ALL 4 CORES ENABLED - Dragon F1 Ln2 cooled
    P5K3-Deluxe with CORSAIR 1800C7D modules
    Single 8800 ULTRA def clocked
    SILVERSTONE 850W PSU

This chip shows no sign of slowing yet on this unit lol 8421 CPU score:

Vince you know from the start when you were describing this to me it was completely beyond my comprehension. Even still I'm not sure if reality has set in for me or not. What the hell am I looking at here?? 5300 quad core loaded?? 8400+ CPU score?? Even passing an 01 or 05 at 5300 on a Conroe feels good. What the hell is this lol?

A new era of 06 benching awaits.

    Hahaha, that's just sick.

Btw the only reason Vince didn't run even higher is because he wet his pants right after that run and had to attend to himself. (Or was that me?) Just wait till he gets it maxed out.

    Sick indeed.

We need a picture of Vince on the side of the highway with a cardboard sign that reads "Will werk for LN2"

Also nice to see you on DDR3.

That cpu score is mighty impressive, and running at those numbers on a Quad is what all quad owners dreamed of things are going to get very interesting in 3dmark06 I have to agree .

    Oooh mighty CPU...

    Go on Vince..
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

My god Vince that's just crazy!!! I guess as soon as you're ready for three pots you will have the cpu down pat. I am eagerly awaiting your results!

    Was doing 5420MHZ x 2 earlier in 01' Sham
Here is a little lower one with some decent gpu clocks finally on single ultra.
100k single card is on again with the quad. 170 points shy of my current single card 01 WR on Conroe 975x/ULTRA but with a damn QUAD and lower gpu clocks :

Still testing for more optimal strap/mem combo at high ln2 clocks.

    Suggestions;

Open up that memory some more, I am sure it will do ~1800Mhz 7-7-7-x, use memset to bring it down to 7-6-5-x

Check with everest for latency, should be under 44ns

And crank up the voltage ( they handle 2.25-2.35V just like D9GMH handles 2.65V for benching ), 1800 7-6-5-18 1T Command Rate should be possible with 2.25V
