One problem I have noticed on my (and a buddy's) Turion 64 X2 processors that was present in 1.40.5 and still in 1.40.8 is that the VCore is reported wrong when the CPU is undervolted (for throttling/battery). It reads fine @ 1.075v when running normal, but when I undervolt it to 0.700v, CPU-Z displays 1.425v...

    -Thanks

The dump shows two possible values, from two sensor chips.
    Code:
Voltage sensor 0	1.26 Volts [0x4F] (CPU VCORE)
    and
    Code:
Voltage sensor 0	1.31 Volts [0x52] (CPU VCore)
I guess the 2nd one is the correct value ?

    Hi,
you can use the ini file to achieve that (use the ini file that is in version 1.40.5 on the web site).
Set sensor to OFF in the ini file, this will force the version 1.40.8 to display the VID instead of the Vcore.

I just recently noticed the following CPU-Z Version 1.40.8 behavior concerning Command Rate using my P5K Deluxe.

Here I don't have Command Rate...

Can you please set sensor=OFF in the ini file and try again ?
If this works, please save a reg dump and send it to me.
If this keeps locking-up, please send me a PM.

    Thanks !

I have come across a very strange problem when using pcprobe2 und cpu-z 1.40.9. I never had this problem when using older versions, but it also appeared when using 1.40.8. BTW, voltage isn't correct, too. Is this a known problem?

maybe that was why it would crash?
