not at all....the 2 notches should line up fine and fall into place....
the only part that should have some tension is the cpu lever that locks it into place..

it appears that Uguru cpu temp is a bit flaky...besides being about 3C lower at idle...it wouldn't rise when i stressing the cores...not until i open and closed Uguru did it show a reasonable temp...but not really reasonable; like 53-55C stresssing all 4 cores.

same as the one I linked to earlier. Seems good so far, but I don't know exactly what was fixed/added/changed.

If anyone finds detailed info on changes I'm sure we'd all like to know.

now, that is funny...abit was accused for a while for failing to do bios updates and it was that way for their QuadGT board...what-a-turnaround!

Holy Crap guys! This board is AWESOME!!! Compared to my ASUS P5N32 SLI Plus...Highest I could get with my previous mobo was 3.93GHz with 1.6 volts...
I decided just to go for a quick suicide run, just for the fun of it...and BAM 4.0Ghz with 1.58 volts...RAM DDR2 1068, 4-4-4-12...Havent stability tested yet

Oh yeah: and Im on the original BIOS, time for a quick Super PI run, will post back

Again, TAT doesn't seem to work with this board.
As for the rest of your issues, I dunno. Have you tried to reset your CMOS? What about update your BIOS?

I must say this new bios does improve your latency's a bit. I am at 41.1 in everest where I was at 56 or so before. Still max at 480fsb with my x3220 (B3). Seems to make this board pretty quick now, getting on toward the quadgt speeds.

It did screw my cpu temps though. Under phase where it read 0c before unless I went positive temps now it jsut reads 128c.

    Hey MadMax

Before you installed beta 12, you said it would only show 0 when your sub zero, is that in the bios as well ?

Having the same problem with this B12 update as I did with the last B11.

All previous settings now no longer work, and can't boot/post over about 2.8 ghz.

(Note: Have been using ACE-A-Rue method, USB disk, extensions etc, leaving battery out and cmos flashing for about 5 minutes prior to first new boot)

Still trying to pin point why. Wonder if it's something to do with the new latencies mentioned and my Geil ram.

On the last B11, for some unknown reason it all started to work again and was able to have 420x9 set 1:1 3-3-3-8.
