If you want to disable it in XP you will have to edit your boot.ini you'll find in root of your systemdrive


Change
/noexecute=optin

to
/noexecute= alwaysoff


Now, if you have installed the dual core fix then you will have another switch there that we need to adjust for:

Make sure you'll have the switches in this order.
/noexecute=alwaysoff /usepmtimer

what is the difference of this in my XP Boot.ini, NoExecute=OptOut versus your recommendation to use NoExecute=AlwaysOff???
