a mess is one thing, i'm actually more intrigued as to what he has in there that requires *all* those cables etc - it seriously doesnt look like it has that much hardware to warrant all those cables! i mean, come on!

iirc they are just shower tubes. you know, the things that join the shower unit to the head? (what they called?)

Yeah, I used a dremel to cut out holes for everything. Was a little aggrevating, but helps hide all wires.

just put in a fan. the computer didn't suffer from heat problems, but the LEDs are more colorful. it was actually quite pointless to do this, because now i can actually hear my computer. i had the fan lying around. this computer is tentative, i got it for $500 last year.

    ps. GUESS THE SPECS!

I have a different mobo, but it is the same size. I saw another Armor case just like that in cable management quality. I would love to do it, but I have no idea where to cut without screwing things up. I want to be able to use the case again in another build in the future. I know you couldn't have cut holes in the places where the ATX standoffs would be. Is there a work log or something that I could see to help me get it that clean. Mine is nice and tidy, though. I used some adhesive vinyl zip tie holders, and zip tied everything to the back. I walso routed the cables along the sides as much as I could. I put the fan power cables behind the motherboard tray. Could we see a pic of the other side with the panel off?

Don't have a work log, but heres some pics to show you some close ups and a pic behind the tray. I will have to modify my cabling when I upgrade later, but not worrying about that until then.

    Hope these help you.

My temps aren't too bad. CPU temp is rarely over 42, the two video cards seldom go over 40 degrees. Only high temp i have is the chipset, which is generally around 45. Hard drive temps seldom exceed 30. It's all watercooled, except for the chipset

Believe it or not, but every single cable serves a purpose. They all power something somewhere

    Yep, ORAC was my inspiration

The metal ones (shower hose) are all the main power, like HDDs, video cards, mobo, etc etc etc

If you guys want more info about my mod, have a look HERE. It's called Epiphany. You'll see the link there

Nice website But is there anything in the case besides cables? I've looked at it from all angles but I couldn't see anything.

EDIT: Never mind. I just saw the pics on your website. Now I know why I didn't see anything. I love the LED optical guide. I might just try that sometime.
