In USA we have a 1.25 hp max as far as I've seen otherwise the power consumptions too high (damn 110vac)
You can find more than 10hp in france (230v AC - 1ph). These power are ridiculous compared to those used in industrial refrigeration (I've calculated a cold room that needed more than 400kW under -25° )

LBP Scroll is the best for our use, with a COP still over 1 even under -45° and up to 3kw (from 600w to 3kw as I remember, 230v AC). The main problem is that we can't find them as easily as rotaries :/
