A RAID 0 array combines multiple physical disks into a single logical disk. Your OS will see a RAID 0 Array as a single volume unless you partition it into multiple partitions... which is possible just as it is with a normal HD. Your RAID 0 array works and is managed just like a normal HD from the perspective of your OS.
