    here it is: http://pic.xfastest.com/hicookie/Abi...s/IP35P_11.rar

looks like the work of hicookie...not a big deal...beta was used by me to signify that it was not a supported or official bios update by abit..if abit releases a beta they give strict orders to the people who receive the file to not distribute it for general use...abit has gotten out of posting beta bioses on their FTP site while the board is still in the very beginning stages of retail purchasing.

I only use it for the eSata ports, which work without too much issue.

Sorry bout hosting it locally but imageshack is being a tool. I think this is a measure point for vdimm. Wondering if anyone else could verify. Thanks

if that is what you are setting in the bios and you measure approximately that value, i would say you have the correct measure point.

Well in bios I have 2.275 set and uguru reads 2.26 at idle and anywhere from 2.24 to 2.28 under load like orthos blend test.

The read point I listed gives me 2.30 idle and between 2.32 to 2.34 under load like orthos blend.

The reason that I was originally interested was because of the uguru deviation (and I reinstalled the latest version with same results) but now I am more worried about the overvolting if this is correct then I am overvolting by alot when under laod from what I set in bios.

ok did a few measurements and they all seemed to be off by about the same amount for load and idle. I set the ref voltage to +0. The highest I read and left my ram at was 2.250 set (in bios) which read 2.250 via bios. This gave me via multi meter idle= 2.279-2.281 and load=2.286-2.310. uguru read 2.24 the entire test.

A pretty big variation I think but not sure how it compares to other boards. I guess it would only be bad if you were running say 2.4 thinking thats what you were getting but the load would probably be more like 2.45 or higher

    this quote is more telling:

However, the IP35 isn't the only board that will be swarmed by Editor's Choice groupies. Gigabyte's GA-P35-DQ6 is also a phenomenal option, and one with fewer flaws than Abit's working-class hero...

Anal-Asus take over 2 months because they are crap, you think with 62,000 employee's they would have an organised RMA service.

In comparison I've rma'ed an Abit IN9 32X-MAX here in the United Kingdom it took less than a week, I nearly had a heart attack on how quick it was lol.

Has anyone tried this board with some of the lower-end chips yet? I'm considering grabbing this board and an E2160 or an E4300 and waiting it out for Penryn Quad-cores to be available.

Does this board have any issues with those chips? Will I still probably run into a FSB wall with the E2160?

If I don't have a pair of the "approved" memory you state on the first post; am I basically SOL? I have Team Xtreem 2X1GB 4-4-4-10 DDR2800 sticks. They are D9GMH chips.

I have G.Skill 2GBHK (ProMOS) and it works perfectly even though it's not on that list.
