So anyways, let's get back on topic:
My first foray into watercooling and forums from a MaximumPC ad (picked that magazine up at a stand just from sheer curiosity) for a Thermaltake BigWater, and an article in that same magazine by the guy who runs [H]. At the time, I didn't know that the BigWater was a piece of sht, but the ad served its purpose, and within the month, I was asking about on [H] about Danger Den, Swiftech, etc...
This was two years ago.
Back then, I regarded XS as sacred ground only experienced people had the right to tread on, so I didn't even dare to lurk here.
Eventually, I developed a taste for German stuff, and decided to come here, because of its global nature and how the Europeans may be contributing info on Euro stuff, while we North Americans contribute info on North American stuff. Also, unlike [H], there are no annoying IntelliTXT or NewEgg banners at the top of the forum page, and you don't have to pay to access certain subforums (unless a similar tiered structure exists here which I'm not aware of)
In short, I was hoping this would be a half-way forum to a full-fledged Euro forum, such as EffizienzGurus, which I cannot surf because I cannot read German.
While I have been enjoying my stay here while slowly trying to learn German, this forum also has its shortcomings. While this forum seems to be much better in terms of maturity, it has its fair share of arseholes. On top of that, there are the nitpickers, the aluminum gestapo, etc...
Examples of what I believe should define XtremeSystems:

What I see instead:
cookie-cutter builds of multiple Thermochills, one of three best performing blocks for a given application, and overkill pump(s) in a U2-UFO.
Mind you, I'm only speaking for this particular subforum.
