i suppose with everyday applications it isn't going to be noticeable. i just thought for the money i spent on this e6600, it would of been great to clock it somewhere in the 3.5/3.6GHz range like most people, or 24/7 on 3.2GHz, but that doesn't seem possible with this batch i got (L707A). only thing i've found orthos stable is 2.8GHz(350x8) at 1.40v. 400 or higher CPU HTT's are just impossible to achieve.

perhaps my money would be spent getting a better video card (although i think my x1900xt is good enough)?
