You don't need any washers when you install the mobo in to the case. Just screw the mobo to the standoff's and your set. I'm also building a new rig and my ram+mobo should arrive next tuesday or wednesday. G-Skill F2-6400PHU2-GBHZ ram and DFI Infinity Dark P965-S mobo I have not yet decided which cpu and videocard to buy...

Thanks for the advice! I still might put washers in just to be safe though..not sure yet!


By the way, adding a VDroop mod for the board when it comes in .

And changing the sucktastic thermal paste.

Any advice on how to safely remove and reinstall Asus heatpipe?
