the cpu is REALLY cold until 1.4v+

    It's 22c ambient (low humidity)

aircooled in an open case, tuniq tower 120

I primed @ 4ghz for a few 7mins before crashing (can't handle the heat...U120 xtreme should solve this in a few days )

Great clocks & volts! I think VID defines the performance of the silicone in that the given CPU requires less voltage to do stock clocks - this should scale up when overclocking. With the Athlon XP-M's the lower the VID, the better & cooler they overclocked.

    Nice....

I got me an E6700 as well from Ebay, it was advertised as L626B so I bought it right away.... When it got here it wasnt L626 but a L629 I thought I got ripped off but the seller explained and it was an honest mistake, he gave me $60 back ( total cost $225 and includes a tuniq )... So far its looking alright, 550fsb 32M stable ( on water ) Ill do more test when I get my mobo running....

When I tested max fsb, all i wanted was for this cpu to hit 535fsb on water and Ill be happy... I think thats the number where youll max the cpu on ln2 and not hit a fsb wall.....
