Hey Sampsa...AMD GPUTool works for overclocking both cards at once...simple set speed for slave card first, gpu first, apply speed, then mem, apply speed, and then do the same for primary card.

    second card no overclock:

    15665:
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1994728

    to clocking second card: 15895:

You are runing different drivers. That should be why there is a difference in the perf.

Um, no, i watched the scores rise until I reached the max of teh card to confirm. It started @ 15553, and went up a wee bit each time i raised clocks on the slave card(25mhz each time). Used driver from teh sappire isntall cd, updated to the driver from the site, and gave it a go.

Overdrive was unlocked and set to maximin speeds, AMDGPUTool overrided these settings, confirmed by running with tool closed, and then with tool open @ lower speeds, and the difference in score.

Tried it again this morning, ot confirm i jsut didn't drink too much last night , and it still works.

Give it a go...works here..feel free to come over and see for yourself lol but I DID copy the wrong link nice catch Kinc.

    Here's the start bench:

Yep. same speed, verified it each time before the run using CCC. was weird to see teh mex available in CCC change when doing this, but whateva.

N-E way, the 155xx was one stock, 156xx i one overclcoked, 158xx is two. I have links of same approximate scores using all the same driver, not too sure what is going on...

SM2.0 score high on one, not the other, same for SM3.0...it's not consistent, I'll say that much!

I'm looking through the list of certified PSU's:
    http://ati.amd.com/products/certifie...ies.html#pstop

I'm wondering do you need at least one 2x4pin connector to over clock these?
My OCZ 700w is on the list but I don't have that native 8pin connector. do I need some thing from that list that has just 1 2x4 pin?? Is there any particular PSU recommended for over clocking these cards? With out over kill?

This is one PSU i was considering: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817256017
    Would this be enough power??

You need 2x4pin pci-e power connector or adapter to use Ovedrive or to run two cards in CrossFire.

Maybe we could see some unigine results, i have no idea if this bench is worth it as i just discovered it and never used it myself. It can test DX9 and OpenGL but not DX10 tho'. Visually this is nothing special i could see as they have a 51 Mb video, the app is 26 Mb and it's all there: http://unigine.com/download/
    Download was fast too.

issue is that the floppy connectors are on rail 5, while other mobo power is rail 1/2. This creates a "short" in psu, adn the system will not start, and PSU will beep at you.

So, you either get some molex/floppy adapters, and use the 2nd 8-pin cable w/molex adapter, or you do not connect them @ all.(not connected here, works a treat: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2017986)

Silverstone works because of rail config. You might be pushing it with a second card, but i doubt it.

First 8-pin pci-e connector is rail 1/2 as is cpu, and second 8-pin pci-e is 1/2/3, so you end up with a high load on those rails. thankfully 24a on each is jsut about sufficient, but I have noticed lower clocks on my quad after adding teh second card.

My cpu is power hungry tho...1.25v all the way to 3.2ghz, but darn it all if vdroop ain't .09v!!!

yes, its also listed on AMD site of certified PSU. and hopefully you will get newer version with 2 6pin AND 2 8pin pci-e connectors. mine is on its way although NO one could confirm for me if it was the newer version.
