It's no assumption on this one perkam... A few google searches will tell you the same.

Just read the performance article I posted earlier in this thread...10-12fps on a xe6800 without physx card, while having playable framerates with the same rig adding in the physx card.

The game is pretty much just a marketing tool for ageia.
