you cant compare with the 8800GTX 64 TMU´s , the X2900 TMU´s run with higher clocks

the x1900 also had less TMUs and in complex shader intensive games they had advantage , and the ratio in R600 is even higher , with x1900 the ratio was 3:1 , now with R600 the ratio is 4:1
