1463 is the best, as far as BIOS settings and experimenting with overclocking. However, you can forget about upgrading to Vista while using 1463. You have to be at 1479 for Vista to even come close to working correctly. This is a real mess engineered by Intel. And I can see no reason for it except to sabotage us long time users (I bought a v304 the first week it was available; about a year ago, I believe).
With this sort of treatment I have to admit that Intel is not an "enthusiast friendly" motherboard manufacturer. Despite how much I enjoyed the D975XBX early on, this action by Intel has lost me as an Intel customer for life. Their action means that customers will never know what action Intel will take during each BIOS release. They will likely screw you at some point. What a pity.Intel.
