I've got X1800XT Crossfire (master/slave) going with my overclock. The only problems I do have are with ATI's crap drivers, not the board itself.
Tell me what your +12V are in smart guardian w/ your 620HX. Some guy on [H] was complaining of only getting +-11.65.

Damn it! I'm currently using 405FSB on the 4:5 divider for DDR1012. I guess I should just keep using my P5B-DLX with my "HZ" ram. Kinda upsets me, as I wanted this board.
    Nothing anymore

    mascaras,

    I'm running 3-3-3 @ ddr2 800 currently with the FAST/FAST ram settings
but I was unable to boot when I tried the divider @400fsb/500mhz ram (4:5)
on the same FAST option settings at 4-4-4-12. Has anyone been able to pull this one off?

This ram is capable of running 540mhz 4-4-4 or 600mhz 5-5-5 on p5b dlx

I've been on 4/18 since I started overclocking the board.

I have no problem using the FAST option with the 4:5 divider. In the screenshots I posted, I left all settings on default/auto so as not to complicate things.

Hum, I am running atm 470 FSB 1:1 at 4/4/4/12 timmings. I have most my sub timmings on auto as the board seems to be doing ok. It there a way to tell if you are on the 1066 strap?

If you left the NB Strap setting at Default, you're on the 1066 strap.

if you slap a 333fsb chip in this board it will boot happily...i would know i have my cpu modded to 333fsb and it boots fine from a cleared bios at 333fsb
just ram compatability seems weaker running this cpu...

I have the same issue. My Corsair HX520 is reading 11.77 and idle and load. my 5 volt is reading 4.7 and dips down to 4.67 on load. I am going to measure with a DMM soon and see what ups.

that i'm not sure...you will have to test yourself
the test i saw of 333 vs 266fsb cpu at what appeared to be exact same clocks/setting showed the 333fsb cpu to be slower...this may have been at default, that is disimilar, straps

    Update:

Got my DFI p965 today w/ an e6600 49G batch. Flash to PD411, no issues at all. First Intel build since the 1999, been with athlon since and this is by far the easiest setup I've ever had. I had more difficulty with the lame stock heat sink then anything so far. No IDE devices, SATA NEC/Sony DVD Burner w/ Raptor at first.

The board is very wierd at first. It boots up for 5 seconds then shuts off then boots up on its on 3 seconds later.

My 2GB Gskill Hz (DDR800) came up as DDR 667 @ 5-5-5-15 @ 1.9V. Quickly followed the guide on here set it at DDR 800 @ 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V (LEFT everything Auto at windows install). Ran memtest everything was fine after 15 minutes. Reset the computer and installed windows XP in 10 minutes. Drivers installed off the CD, btw the intel chipset driver is 8.1.1.001 if anyone cares. I dont know if that is old or not.

Smart Guardian is kind of wired. My CPU and System Temperature changes rapidly. My ATX +12V is at 11.83 to 11.90 Volts (I have the Corsair 620HX) CPU-z shows my volts ranging from 1.200 to 1.248, I left my e6600 volts on auto and I dont know if there is an option in the BIOS for something like cool 'n quiet c2d were it lowers your volts when your not using the CPU.

I'm going to try a mild over clock today to see what I can get with the stock cooler. BTW what should I put on my CPU Volts ? I don't understand JPN with their +250mvzf stuff.

u shd try to disable the C1E option in the CPU Feature in the bios and the +250mv thingy is actually +250mv = +0.25v so it will be like 1.3v + 0.25 v = 1.55v :P

I recently figured out my problem. Apparently having Speedfan in my startup list breaks Crossfire on boot. Once I removed that, let Crossfire initialize and start Speedfan manually, I was back in business. Before that the only way to play games was to have Crossfire disabled or Catalyst AI turned off - both resulted in craptastic FPS.

Haven't reinstalled 3DMark since figuring out this problem, but I'll get on that shortly.
