All I know is that I am glad I bought 2x 8800GTX SLI running them 685/2200 (water) and that I did not wait back there for a February release of the ATI cards and then the March one and so on.
So I had my cards since release and made my HP 30" Display happy all this time.
For me its better to buy some products soon after release rather than waiting for the competitors next big thing! Especially when we are talking about AMD. They just don't have the resources to handle themselves no wonder they are screwing ATI now. And mind you I was on an Athlon FX before Core 2.
I just hope they finally make it or else we are all screwed if left in a Market with Nvidia and Intel only. And now it only takes AMD to fail for this to happen.
It did? Looks like that got discounted pretty quickly....

lol the longer ati waits. The more 8800 series cards NZilla will sell & control market.
ok right, I heard that and saw the thread.
The article I posted was dated TODAY 4/25.
The review you posted was EARLY 4/24 (4AM).
Are you sure that particular bench was supposed to be for the XTX? If so, how is that possible as they JUST stated 'it will arrive in 2 hours' TODAY???

Guy at DT just tested an XT.. but claims he has an XTX on his hands too.
Biggest question now.. is it 65nm?
Ok cool Someguy...
Vern you are killing me man....Put your ducks in a row first!!!![]()
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I won't be upgrading again till december so I'll have my pick when it comes to graphics cards. Some people need to chill out. If you want a graphics card now, buy what is available now(screw any notions of brand loyalty you may have. As always in computing if you want to keep waiting for the next big thing then you will never buy anything ever.
<eMesreveR>Do "girls" ever appear outside the Internet? Can i randomly encounter them?
<Aleph-One>I believe they are a fabrication. Most of the evidence would suggest that they were created in a studio during the Cold War to display our industrial superiority over the Soviet Union.

You'd be surprised. CPU upgrade cards for macs (which are oddly similar in construction to videocards) have a dud/instability or overheating rate of atleast %50 at the top end... Yet these idiot in the lab swear up and down they thoroughly stress test every example that ends up in retail.
I've always wondered how most videocard partners manage to keep what must be a +95% perfection rate in all their cards.
