for memory issues try setting all timings manually using someones memset setting for similar ram and speeds....
manual timing setting is normal with dfi boards...and these boards are a week old only
plus i'm sure i've seen 8gb screenshots at ocx

you cant run 4gbs?? hmmmmm i think my friend that also bought one DFI infinity is runing quad-core and 4Gbs (not 100% sure about the ram)

I've tried all 3 bios, and tried switching around the sticks, leaving things at auto, playing with settings, etc. I just don't think it's possible to run 4 sticks right now at a good o/c. HOPEFULLY it's a bios problem.

Is anyone running an E4300 with this board? I cannot seem to find the settings for 1:1 memory ratio. The best I can do to 4:5. I have tried all the NB strap settings and DDR combos, there does not seem to be a way to get 1:1 setup.

Other than that, it is a super board so far. Booted right up. Bumpped the FSB to 300 which maxes my ram around DDR800. No problems.

does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying memory testing during POST??? its really annoying...i have search thru the bios option but there is non of the option to do so.... by the way i am using the initial bios, hasnt flashed to the beta bioses as my friends is having some problem with them

Yeah, the option is there. But it doesn't do anything.

What annoys me more is how i have to take a stick of ram out after a CMOS clear.......... I have to manually set the volts to 2.1 or higher(2GBHZ) then save setting and put the other stick back in.

yeah i disabled it and it doesnt work so i tot there might be other setting... well overall this mobo is very fast to be frank

They are all enzotech heatsink(NB and BGA)
I just got the MB, not yet test it. I would like to see it is stronger than QuadGT or not

Hi, just test my P965-s board, set FSB to 500MHz, multiple to X7, Vcore to 1.375v, vDimm to 2.2v. NB/SB voltages are on the default values.

Set dimm timing to: Mode3 - Auto - fast - fast - Auto .. 4-4-4-9-auto...

It boots into windows, runs superpi 1M no problem. Still testing.

This was the most helpful post in this thread for me. I tried setting my ram on Mode 3 and sure enough, I'm priming away at 472x7 with all 4 sticks of ram. I once again cannot boot above 480 because my e6300 has a cap, so hopefully me getting a good e6600 or 6420 will take care of that
