For that SLI setup, why not make the outlet of the bottom GPU block come out of the top? That would eliminate the need for the 90 degree barb.

    heh i listed my components:

    Thermochill PA120.2
    BlackICE GTS 120.1

I dont think a single 120.1 could give you these temps:

The case is a armor. Im pretty much at its limit now. Im thinking of moving to a UFO dualy for the room, or a horizon. Havent figured it out yet, but i'll have one next month.

    Loop order is:
    DDC-2 (1) -> PA120.2 -> DD680i -> DDC-2 (2) -> MCW30 -> BIGTS -> GPU1 -> GPU2 -> EK Res.

And why i kept the 90 is because i dont really have to worry about restrictions. 2 x DDC-2 /w petras top is a TONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN of flow.

Thats her when i had the GTX:

    My lap job.

Video cards: ATI HDMI = SUX.... Get the 7600GT version.

my old rad collection. Thermochill isnt there, i got it reciently. :] Wish i could take a pic of it, my memory stick burnt out last night, and i dont have a spare. I dont know how the heck it burnt out either. First time its happened to me.

    Supercool VRMs anyone?

well my house is set to 68F (20C) but i live in the basement so its like 17c ambient. temps according to core temp 0.94 are core 0 21c core 1 17c at stock settings while idling and 26c and 21c at load. highest ive seen it hit was 40c at load was when i was at 2.9ghz @ 1.5v. idled at 27c. those temps are with the IHS on.

    i love office space!

i have to tweak my settings because its not completely stable. fails orthos at priority 8 within minutes no matter what voltage i use. but i think either my motherboard, psu or windows is flaking out on me. when i get home, im gonna put a fresh install of XP home (no vista for me till DX10 games lol) on her and see if it helps. if that doesnt work, then the psu is next. all the voltages are pretty low and i think its what caused the cold boot and eventual death of my first sli-dr. stinking Antec NeoHE (Neo Heap of Excrement) 550 psu

thanks to everyones comments. it was my first attempt and i think it was successful. definitely reached a new level here

whats wrong with the neoHE 550??

Thats inside my NAS, and i swear its quieter then the old seasonic 450. Actually the entire setup was ment for quiet, so i cant hear it at all really. And its been giving the NAS some pretty stable loads. It folds most of the time unless i need it to play HTPC role.

bt_medic04, you said your voltages are low, did you test them with a DMM or using software? Software isn't accurate and almost always reports low. NeoHE PSUs are usually pretty good, Seasonic built units.

i go off of what the bios reports. not sure exactly off the top of my head what the voltages are but the 12v is something like 11.7. the 5v and 3.3v are within spec. i just might be anal about it, but i dont like seeing my 12v doing a roller coaster lol. also my cpu voltages usually droop (ill set 1.45 and it shows 1.42 probably due to the board itself) and jump a bit in the bios. im probably just being paranoid but i bought the original NeoHE before the asus problem had been discovered/fixed. looks like ill have to get a multimeter and check it out

Yes, do so. My bios reports low on the 12V rail as well (11.86 or something like that) but it really is not that low. Also my vcore was supposedly bouncing all over when the CPU wasn't under load, but a DMM verified it wasn't, and actually showed that the board overvolts my CPU by 0.06 volts. So I have my bios set to 1.3V and my CPU gets 1.36V (which is just about stock for it, 1.35V is stock).

You'd think that it shouldn't be that hard to put an accurate voltmeter on these boards but I guess the mobo mfr's haven't figured it out yet

I guess I should add my own pics of my frankenbuild already. I have had this setup for a little while now, just never posted pics of it before. All the specs (mostly in my sig already) and more info (and technically all the same pictures too) at = http://www.gt-clan.net/kuhlas_stuff/...age/index.html. Yes I know it is ugly but it will be put in a new case eventually that will be properly modified to fit everything inside it. The case it is in right now I started to modify then gave up from frustration due to poor planning. Its a modified Antec Super Lanboy. Before anyone asks, this has been lanparty portable tested Here is my sig:

    l............my.current.setup.............l
    l Opteron 165 (9*333 = 3.0GHz)
    l DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D
    l eVGA 7900GTO (675core,800mem)
    l 2*1GB DDR OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K
    l Seagate 7200.9 300GB h.drive
    l CM Real Power 450W p.supply
    l Creative X-Fi Xtrememusic
    l
l Swiftech Apogee GT cpu block
    l Swiftech MCR220 QP radiator
l Laing DDC-2 pump (with below)
    l Petra'sTech DDCT-01s pump top
    l Masterkleer 7/16" ID tubes

Just a bit of pressure-it still slides in the front, no relieving anything. Need to get another hard drive, as it's only 160, and I run headless, so I have ISOs to store.
