The FSB walls on this mobo istnt CPU related, its chipset related. That is the effect of hard encoded Nb-straps.

Thanks. Yes, it did increase stability, but voltage still fluxuated about .02v. I erased yesterday and re-penciled it and it isn't as stable now. Am I doing something wron? I saw your voltage graph and it was flat, what did you do to get NO droop at all?
As for vcmh, yes I think if it had more voltage I could get higher. I think that is the reason most everyone tops this board out at 510fsb. 507fsb is very stable, but orthos blend fails still. At 500fsb EVERYTHING is stable, finally. I still want zero droop and won't be happy (or 24hr blend stable) until I get zero droop.

This board will do lower memory dividers. I ran my 6300 at 500mhz fsb and my mem at 266mhz, so that isn't a problem with this board. But that's up to you.
Sounds like you know what you want. The next thing I'd do is start a thread asking what boards 4300 users are having sucess with. I don't think there are that many of us using the p5n-e sli so I don't know if anyone has a 4300 and this board. Hope everything works out for you.

I know about 650i's capability of lower mem dividers, but i'm not used to this and most likely will look for new ram next week...
I've found this post, but i don't know about stability or specific probs.
I'm going to place an order tomorrow and maybe i'm going the 6300 way cause i haven't got time to investigate it.

What is the NB Volt, vdimm and vcore
you can go high with 1.568V vcmh ( nearly 500 fsb ) if you want to push it a little more you have 1,7v but you really need to cool the nb![]()
I had to use 1.7v for vcmh to get to 500mhz fsb or over. Under 500fsb I could use 1.568v. I have an HR-05 SLI on my NB though, stock it would overheat and be very unstable with 1.568v. I have 1.45v selected for my cpu and 2.35v for ram. I have done a vdroop mod and that helped my stability greatly. Anything else?

i wonder if a BSEL1 modded e4300 will run better than the one that boots at 200mhz stock fsb ??? Someone wanna try that out ???
The fan should help, but I've read that the actual heatsink on the NB is warped sometimes and it needs to be lapped smooth. A cheap NB hsf would do the trick if you don't want to lapp. But that is only if it is unstable, if not your fine. The 1.47v is about what I'm seeing under load if I set it to 1.5v. You should be fine as long as you don't have stability issues.
