What's with the 2 4pin connectors? there's an 8pin connector so I don't see the point of the extra 2 molex connectors. I'm sure their optional just in case your psu doesn't have an 8 pin connector.

What happened to the 3rd PCI-E slot?
So is this an ATI board, I didnt know they made boards. Looks like it has onboard graphics?
looks alot like my Manta reference only with different PWM
Edit - hey victor, i think the cmos jumper is the one near the battery, maybe try flipping that? (there are four jumpers there, three in a row and one on top, im talking about the one on top.) Good luck!

Not a bad looking board but seems a bit "Empty"![]()
I dont think its final, especially if the bit about being 2 months old is for real. I wish I had access to such things. Got any keifer chips gathering dust back there?
looks like a cnr slot.
Havnt seen one of those in a while

please dear lord dont tell me these stupid people put a CNR slot on this mobo.
the CNR slot NEVER EVER got used 8 years ago when they first started using CNR, thats why it only lasted about a year and they quit making that slot.
you couldnt even find a CNR NIC. jesus i cant believe they would even consider putting a cnr slot on that man,, thats rediculous
UNLESS they plan on including a little CNR wifi nic.

Sheesh. Notice WOL jumper right next to CNR?
Pretty sure it's for wifi.

Its not a final board, just a test of the chipset right so wait till a proper board is seen first?

Ok that is a wierd layout for sure, no 3x pcie 16x either. Guessing its just an ES of the chip not the board like others said. All i really care about is how it runs tho, hope you get it to work![]()
@ VW is there spread spectrum option in bios,
also whats max...Vmch, VTT, Vdimm & pci-e mhz range ....![]()
read through ATI's RD600 overclking guide, seems the mobo is a monster for mem overclking.
can set mem clk seperately by not by fsb:ram ratio, and I saw a 425fsb cpu with 600mhz cl4 cpuid screenshot @.@
to Dyn:
I have x1950xtx cf edition in hand. so no need 2*x1950xtx with RD600 for a crossfire running
just no mobo alive in hand. after so many cpu testing, my p5wgd2-ws pro and p5wdh dl were dead, LGA775 always have such prob.
unfortunetly, my RD600 still cannot work though I tried CLR Cmos jumper.
bad luck these days. killed 3pcs RaptorX and 3mobo![]()

Raptors are very durable and tough harddrives. the ASUS boards and harddrives dying are from the constant self sudden powerdowns during reboots and overclocks or when exiting the bios. This isn't a "feature" unless you want to call it a "killer feature." The Asus killed your harddrives, not your bad luck.Originally Posted by VictorWang
