Decided to change the stock northbridge (MCH) heatsink as it appears better MCH/NB cooling = higher FSB
Easiest way to remove stock bad axe NB heatsink is to:
1. Unhinge the spring on one side
2. See in this pic here , the 2 diamond club shape tabs at top of heatsink. Unhinge them from the heatsink and the black clips just falls off.
I installed my 2nd Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II chipset cooler, 169g of copper goodness @19dba fan noise
