BS it will work in the SLI-DR. Read up any regular videocard - it says needs 16x as well.

probably won't get same performance as 2x 7900gtx due to

    1. default lower clocked
    2. puny heatsink cooling GPUs
    3. lack of ability too properly cool the inner gpu

you'll need an SLI board orelse you're in for some driver hacking

you'll be very very tight WCing the inner GPU. Looks like overclocking is basically out of question. plus you have a lower default clock (and voltage, you'll be very tight vmodding the top GPU). The specs of the quad SLI 7900gtx are lower then then 7900gt (per core). Marketting just had to have them name their high end 7900gtx, when the specs are closer to those of a 7800gtx.

I just wish they made the 7900GTXs lower in price...

Two 7900GTXs would do better then one 7900 GX2, IMO...

    P.S.
Anyone know if the Enermax Noistaker Allin1 600W PSU will take on
    2 x 7900GTXs?

    Metro that sounds great

Though I am still convinced that no one really needs any more than a 7900GT SLI setup to enjoy the best of games out there at the highest resolutions.

I was talking to a guy over a MonarchComputer and he was saying they were going to be getting the parts for quad sli soon and they were going to setup a machine with it.

Were the 3DMarks for the last quad sli (7800) setup good or was that setup differently (i.e. 4 cards instead of 2 dual cards)?

Dude, get a life, not everything is about nvidia vs ati, this ati card isn't even remotely simlilar to the GX2 and has absolutely nothing to do with this topic.

1 GB of memory? My Ipod nano has also 1GB of memory, maybe I should mention that too?
