VapoLS with Prometeia compressor: the best of both worlds

Here is a mod in my Vapo LS done by Ricky

With this I can get the very good mounting system and electronics of VapoLS with the silence and effectiveness of the Prometeia..

    Here is 1 photo

Besides Danfoss NL11F compressor Ricky put a new coil before the condensator...with very good results, that really exced my expectation

    Evap Temp :

A gain of more than -10ºC ..impressive

    No Bios :

    In Windows :

    A gain of more than-8ºC !!

Was calibrate with Ricky touch ..he is really perfectionist

Besides the cooling gains ..the compressor is almost noiseless
..what a diference from irritating fridge noise of the VapoLS standard compressor..

With 1.7V on the hot FX-55 013m at around 3.3, the fans at minimum speed (1200rpm) ..no noise at all ..here is the temps after one superpi 16mb ..

The best of booth worlds . my 24/7 system

Thank you Ricky .. for another great work

Why are you getting lower temps than I did with DI? I must have used REALLY crappy springs...

note that the -62 on evap was with an fx55 @ 1.7v idle on windows with vapo heaters on we get -64 with fx55 @ 1.55v idle on windows with heaters on, we didn't test with vapo not mounted on cpu and undercharged, but i think lcd @ -70 possible, lcn, not reall temps, dont know the error of lcd

Very nice Pedro, I am getting the same mod done but it is going to be a bit different.

I am also getting the NF-7 compressor. However I am also getting a chilly1 block and his mounting system (i can also use the LS mount if I like).

Chill control will be taken out and replaced with the newest version of the G-froster which has its own windows software and all. The CC v2 isnt a very good chill control and many of them have just died. Also it is not 100% mb compatible. It did not work on my eXpert for instance and im sure there are or will be a few other mbs.

I am really glad that you posted this review, gives me insight into what i am getting. Glad that it is real quiet and the temp drop is awesome too. My temps should be the same I guess but more stable and it will be able to hold load a bit better due to the c1 block.

LittleDevil www.asetek.com and click on cpu cooling/vapochill ls something like that its all there.
