    The AS-SSD QD=1 4KB random read is 20 MB/s for the C400, as compared to about 30MB/s for the C300. So I guess you may be right that the 8KB page size of the 25nm flash is slowing the C400 down there.

    For the small number of users who reach high QD, the 4K-64 performance of the C400 is much better than the Intel 510 or the Corsair P3, which I guess shows what Micron's firmware programmers can accomplish with the Marvell controller. But the C400 loses out on sequential speed to the others, which is probably relevant to more users than 4K-64 performance.
