i don't let it run at 500 for fear of killing a 300$ chip with vtt, since i don't need to, but 471x8.5 is easy with this one...did it on the first try...whereas my bad ud3r took 2xdozen attempts and never booted succinctly..so to speak...I personally don't think 471 will kill it - (too soon anyway) ...

i know it's only 4 phase and no pwm /mof cooling, but then it only has to last 3 month's when i replace it with a UD3P - but i'm a little tapped out after X-mas so this will have to suffice - and it was only a quick trip across the street - either that or the UD3LR /EP45T-UD3P - just for the DDR3 fun - if i can find one..

i just wanted to say that it appears ALL the Ultra Durable 3 series can do it with Quads....that's all

Thanks

edit: i'm not into the performance stuff, i just set everything from Turbo to Standard..that's all I can tell ya
could it have something to do with my board being on the older f5 bios?

btw i thought setting standard instead of turbo just loosens memory timings? or does it affect mch timings as well like memory strap does?

room temp seems to have an effect on my max fsb so most likely the nb is just getting too hot even at low volts.
